I got a chance to handle one at The Woolery a few months ago, and was amazed at how fast it spins and how well engineered it seemed, but couldn't conceptualize how to spin with it. It's so helpful to see it in action. I don't normally use a leader with my top whorl spindles, but it looks like it's pretty much mandatory with this one.
