lk2g-017 2007 Maryland Sheep & Wool pt. 2

This episode is part 2 of our field trip to the 2007 Maryland Sheep and wool festival.

In this episode you’ll see:

  • The Sheep to Shawl Contest
  • A Sock knitting machine
  • An interview with Jessica Marshall Forbes from Ravelry and her friend Maya Mackowiak
  • Spinning from a rabbit
  • Fiber and yarn everywhere!

Plus you’ll see what I took home from the festival…..

These two episodes were our toughest field trip show to make up to this point. There was 6 hours of footage which Eric edited down to two episodes!

    Cat & Eric,

I’ve been watching your podcasts for several weeks, during that time I’ve watched and re-watched all of your episodes several times. I love them and keep going back to review them.

As far as I’m concerned you two can quit your day job and crank out weekly half hour shows. Isn’t the Podshow folks always looking for new talent?

on another note, ever thought about a knit-a-long? Everybody makes the same thing like a sweater sampler or something.

    Major fan,

    Lini

    Dear CAT and Eric,

Well, it may have been a lot of work, but the effort was worth it! thanks for giving such a great overview of MSW… it is truly one of my most favorite events all year and you did capture the flavor of it all.

Thanks again for all you do!
