Thank you both for your talents. I will miss your collaborative inspiration and humor. My favorite episode is sock wars. In fact it's so good that I found myself going into your archives and hunting down more insightful hints and bits of humor. It started me searching down the rabbit hole of cyber knitting blogs for more insightful information, however, I have yet to find a match to your work. Take care and Happy New Year!

I will miss your show. Your episode on Felting in the washing machine is what got me really into wool, followed by knitting, followed by a knitting machine, followed by knitting socks on my knitting machine and much much more.

I will truly miss your episodes. they always inspired me.

Cat and Eric,

You have been such a source of inspiration to me. I will miss you terribly and hope you will reconsider after a nice long break.

I'm not sure you can truly understand what you and Let's Knit Together have meant to so many people.

Wishing you all the best and Thanks for all you've done!

Hi. My Name is Tara. I'm 16. I've been knitting since I was 10, but when I first started I was completely lost with what to do and got really bored with just plain garter stitch scarves. Thats around when I found Lets Knit2gether. You helped to get me started with more difficult projects and helped me learn to hone my skills. Knitting has helped me to learn to focus and to my fine motor skills when I am playing my music (I play piano, guitar, and I sing as well as writing my own music). Knitting for the less fortunate has also helped me to complete my community service hours required for high school (In Ontario Canada we have to complete 40 hours to get our high school diploma).

I just wanted to take the time to say thank you for all the help that you have given me over the past 5 years and I wish you all the best for the future!

If you ever wanted to checkout my music my youtube channel is tarajamiesonmusic

All the best! And Merry Christmas!!!

You will be truly missed. There are no other shows like yours. What would be nice is if one of the corporations or coops or mom and pop shops would pick up where you left off; that way there would be no burden on a single individual financially, creatively or physically.

I was a great show. Thank you.

I had a feeling that this might happen and I have tried several times to write something to show my grief at not seeing you and Eric showing me around places that I know would never be an opportunity for me (i.e. alaska, rhinebeck, new york sheep & wool) to see. I have learned such a lot and made friends through LK2G and could never have imagined the technology of meeting and chatting to you all through our live links.

I do however, wish you both a wonderful future in whatever your plans are and want to thank you so much for your time, effort and cost in making LK2G. I hope Cat you will keep showing us your projects on the ravelry group and hope that you now have a little more time on your hands to start using some of that wonderful stash you have.

Take care and THANK YOU again.

This makes me very sad, but I understand that nothing wonderful can last forever. Your show inspired me to start really knitting again, after many years of doing it only sporadically. For that I am grateful. Your show also inspired me to make my first trip to Rhinebeck this year (all the way from Cincinnati).

Thank you both for the instruction, the inspiration and the entertainment. You will be missed. My one real consolation is that I've downloaded and saved every single episode, and I will continue to watch them over and over again.

Thank you for posting this video. I have been knitting since I was a teenager and after I got married and had children we moved to Florida and I immediately stopped because it was so hot. 10 years went by and my eldest son developed mental illness. I had to quit my job and it was an emotionally hard time for me and the family. I picked up knitting again which became my therapy. The project I choose was my first pair of socks.. and I also have not stopped knitting since.. (^_^)

Kat,
I have just got finished knitting and spinning thru hurricane IRENE and was also crocheting during 9/11. I know what it means to knit or in my case, crochet my way thru the misery of that day. That is why will NEVER stop doing what I do. It is at times all I have when desaster strikes or when joy comes in the morning.

I am now about to knit for my first grandchild...but with a bit of trepidation. My son is unemployed and only his wife is working right now. I am unemployed and have been buying food for my son and daughter in law.

Things have been hard but not impossible. I will knit and spin my way thru all this economic and political trermoil, just as my needles and wheel kept me going thru the storm and 6 days of no electricity.

Keep knitting no matter what. It makes a difference in our lives and, when a piece is done, others benefit as well.

I'm glad knitting was able to help you deal with your experience of 911. How is your sister? Does either of you still work in NYC? Are you able to wear the sweater?

I found your vlog through itunes 3 months ago right after i finally had success learning how to knit, and just got finished watching all of them.

My son loved the field trips to the festivals, and farm as did I. Before watching I was ignorant of the lovely fiber festivals, your vids have been an eye opener.

I am now putting a bug in my families ear, and hope to attend this years festival at Rheinbeck. Though it will be a climate shock as we live in the desert.

Your vlog is great and I have enjoyed every one thourghly. The two of you are very personable, and the content so fresh. Can't wait for more.
