Thanks for a great podcast! You pack alot of information in a short amount of time. Looking forward to future episodes!
I’ve not yet knit anything that needed blocking, so this was a really informative and great episode. The teddy and the poncho are just adorable!
Thanks! THis was great information. I’ve been “blocking” but this was very informative, and showed me how a little more effort pays off!
loved the teddy bear. What a great idea! thanks too for all the extra info in the notes
I discovered your video podcast tonight and have watched all three episodes in one go- thank you so much! There are no knitting groups or shows in my area so it was amazing to watch you knit, to visit NYC, see the Yarn Harlot…thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!
Hey Eric and Cat,
I found you through Rocketboom. I watched all three episodes tonight. Really fantastic! The trip to NY was so interesting, really great interviews and excellent production values.
I started enjoying things more and more during the block-ing ep, as it seemed like you really began to relax. (Also it was great to see that someone else can run into the same snags and delays!)
Thanks so much, i’ve subscribed and hope you keep posting regularly.
Cheers (from Melbourne, Australia)
Another great video. 🙂
I had never seen blocking done so this was really neat.
You do a great job making me feel like I’m with you and you give a very warm presentation.
Loved seeing your ‘human’ error being shown with the neck of the poncho. Great job getting it done. Both the poncho and the teddy are awesome,

I loved this episode. You have demystified what blocking boards and wires are for me. I won’t even go into what I thought the wires were used for.
Also… Love… love… love… the FO and child pictures…
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Thanks for showing me a blocking board in action. I’ve just been using my spare bed thinking the board was not that important, but I can see where the grid is helpful.
The poncho was adorable and that bear will be a cherished keepsake. Great job.

What a precious poncho and bear! I cannot wait to find a baby to do one for. You are so talented. Thanks so much for showing me how to block. Thanks again for sharing your personal note about the baby gift. That was as informative as the blocking part!

I just found your video podcast, and I love it! Thanks for the great attention to detail. Can’t wait to see the rest of your episodes, as well as new ones.
Hi Cat,
This podcast was awesome. I have made so many items (baby two piece swim suit, knitted mens undershirt, and a shawl like the one you made for your niece)that required blocking and I did not know what to do. Some of them I am wearing and some I have set aside until I figure out what to do to fix them. You have given me a great idea for Xmas which is to purchase the items I need to block all my knitting that needs blocking. Thank you.
Hi Kat,
I’m a first time viewer (computer). I just viewed this blocking video and wish to say thanks so much for your expertise. I’m a knitter who hates to finish also. I am hankering to improve my skills though, so, wish me luck.
Awsome presentation.

Thanks CAT & Eric – Fantastic video with the perfect amount of details. I really appreciate your work.
I learned to knit as a small child, but have stopped making time for it in the last 10 years. Coming across your podcast yesterday has re-inspired me to pick up those needles yet again. Your episodes are wonderful, informative, and inspiring. Thank you!
Where do you purchase the blocking wires and the blocking board?
that was just beautiful and your Niece is so cute!! bravo Cat
